Chef Amanda Baden is a dedicated pastry chef and the owner of Baden’s Bakery based inA woman with long red hair, blue eyes, rose colored lipstick and a cream colored shirt in front a a green hedge. Northern Virginia.  Her culinary journey began early on, deeply influenced by fond memories of baking with her grandmother.  She pursued formal culinary training at Johnson & Wales University in Miami. There, she earned both an associate degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and a Bachelors degree in Food Service Management. Continuing her education, she obtained a Masters of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Virginia Tech, blending her culinary skills with managerial expertise.  After graduating, Amanda initially ventured into hospitality management but eventually found her way back to baking while managing at Briar Patch Bed & Breakfast Inn. Her role allowed her to delight guests with her breakfast creations and afternoon sweets for wedding parties, receiving accolades that reinforced her desire to establish her own bakery.  Amanda continues to aspire to share her love for baking with others, promising to uphold the tradition of excellence and innovation in every pastry she creates.
